ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Saturday agreed to terms with wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, whom they selected in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft from Georgia Tech. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

(6-foot-3, 229 pounds) finished his career ranked fourth in school history in receiving yards (2,339), fourth in touchdown catches (15) and seventh in receptions (120). His career receiving average (19.5) represents the fifth-best mark in Atlantic Coast Conference annals.

He earned third-team All-America honors and first-team All-ACC accolades in 2009 after ranking second in the nation with a school-record 25.1-yard reception average on 46 catches for 1,154 yards, which ranked second all-time in Georgia Tech history.

A first-team all-state performer at West Laurens High School in Montrose, Ga., Thomas was born on Dec. 25, 1987.
