In addition to two players—running back Kapri Bibbs and tackle Kyle Roberts—who spent the preseason with Denver, the Broncos signed defensive end George Uko and tight end Arthur Lynch to their practice squad.
Uko (6-3, 284 pounds) is a first-year player who appeared in one game for Tampa Bay as a rookie in 2014 after entering the NFL with New Orleans as a college free agent from the University of Southern California.
In 39 career games (29 starts) for the Trojans, Uko recorded 85 tackles (35 solo), 11.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He received All-America honors as a senior at Don Antonio High School in Chino, Calif., and was born on Feb. 11, 1992.
Lynch (6-5, 252 pounds) is a second-year player who competed with the N.Y. Jets during the preseason. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve after being selected by Miami in the fifth round (155th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft from the University of Georgia.
He appeared in 51 career games (26 starts) for the Bulldogs and totaled 56 receptions for 907 yards (16.2 avg.) with eight touchdowns. Named to the Massachusetts All-State Team as a senior at Dartmouth (Mass.) High School, Lynch was born on June 17, 1990.
