ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Monday traded tackle Chris Clark to the Houston Texans for a 2016 NFL Draft choice, it was announced. The trade is contingent on Clark passing his physical with the Texans.

Clark (6-5, 305 pounds) is a sixth-year player who appeared in 69 career regular-season games (27 starts) and seven postseason contests (4 starts) for the Broncos during the last five seasons.

Claimed by Denver off waivers from Minnesota in 2010, Clark started a career-best 14 regular-season games and three playoff contests for the Broncos in 2013.

He entered the NFL with Tampa Bay in 2008 as a college free agent and spent his first two seasons competing on the Vikings’ practice squad.
