ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Friday signed unrestricted free-agent tackle Ryan Harris to a one-year contract and placed tackle Ryan Clady on injured reserve, it was announced.

Harris (6-5, 302 pounds) is an eighth-year player who spent his first four NFL seasons (2007-10) with the Broncos after being selected by the club in the third round (70th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft from the University of Notre Dame.

He has appeared in 94 regular-season games (54 starts) and two postseason contests during his career, which has also included stops in Houston (2012-13) and Kansas City (2014).

Harris opened 34-of-46 games for Denver during his first four NFL seasons and was named an All-Pro selection by Sports Illustrated following his 2008 campaign in which he played every snap during his first season as a starter. In addition to his four seasons playing for the Broncos, he spent seven months with the club in 2012 and competed with the team during the preseason that year.

A four-year starter during his collegiate career with the Fighting Irish, Harris attended Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, Minn. He was born on March 11, 1985.
