he Broncos open their preseason on the road for the 18th time in the last 19 years when they travel to Seattle to play the NFC-Champion Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Week 1 (Aug. 13-17). Denver then travels to Houston to play the Texans at NRG Stadium in Week 2 (Aug. 20-24).
he club’s preseason home opener at Sports Authority Field at Mile High will take place in Week 3 (27-30) against San Francisco—Denver’s most common all-time preseason opponent (36 previous meetings). The Broncos will conclude the preseason at home against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4 (Sept. 3-4).
Denver owns a 132-117 (.530) all-time record in the preseason and has registered at least a .500 record in the preseason during 17 of the last 19 years. In 2014, Denver finished with a 3-1 preseason record.
The Broncos have an agreement in principle with KUSA-TV (9News) to televise the club’s preseason games locally for the fifth consecutive year. As the team’s official television partner, 9News will also provide exclusive Broncos content and work with the club on various year-round community initiatives.
For the 46th consecutive year, 850 KOA will broadcast all Broncos games as the team’s flagship radio station. Dave Logan (play-by-play) will be in his 19th full season calling games for the club while former Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey (color commentary) will take part in his fourth full season providing on-air analysis.
The FM home of the Broncos, 103.5 The Fox, will simulcast games for the third consecutive year along with the more than 60 Broncos Radio Network affiliates located throughout the Rocky Mountain West.
José 92.1 FM (KJMN) and Maria 1090 AM (KMXA), will broadcast Broncos games for the fourth consecutive year. Luis Canela (play-by-play) will call the games with Rafael Medina and Javier Olivas working as the color analysts.
Exact dates and times for Denver’s preseason schedule will be announced later this month in coordination with the NFL’s release of the Broncos’ complete 2015 regular-season schedule.
