ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Wednesday acquired center Gino Gradkowski in a trade with Baltimore involving 2016 draft pick considerations, Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway announced.

Gradkowski (6-3, 300 pounds) is a fourth-year player who appeared in 40 regular-season games (16 starts) and six playoff contests in three seasons for the Ravens. He was selected by Baltimore in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft from the University of Delaware.

He started all 16 games at center for Baltimore in 2013 after seeing action in every contest during his 2012 rookie season in which the Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII.

Gradkowski started 37 games during three seasons at Delaware after transferring from West Virginia University. He saw action at center as well as both guard positions for the Blue Hens and was named a first-team All-American following his senior campaign.

A two-way lineman at Seton-La Salle (Pa.) High School, Gradkowski was born on Nov. 5, 1988, in Pittsburgh.
