BRONCOS ANNOUNCE CHANGES FOR FANS DURING 2014 TRAINING CAMP
ENGLEWOOD, Colo.— The Denver Broncos on Friday announced logistical changes that will affect fans attending training camp practices this summer.
Due to construction at the club’s training facility, the Broncos are unable to host public training camp practices at Dove Valley. In order to accommodate fans for training camp, however, the team will hold three open practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High that include free admission and free parking.
The three practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for fans will take place on Sunday, July 27, Wednesday, July 30, and Saturday, Aug. 2. The practice on Saturday, Aug. 2, will be the Broncos’ annual Summer Scrimmage and features expanded programming and activities for fans to enjoy.
“While we are disappointed in being unable to host fans at our facility during training camp this summer, we look forward to accommodating them for multiple practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High,” Broncos President Joe Ellis said. “The safety and comfort of our fans are top priorities, and unfortunately the construction of the new indoor practice field as well as the renovations to our existing building present a number of safety and logistical issues.
“The improvements made to our facility will be spectacular and significantly enhance the fan experience for training camps at Dove Valley for years to come.”
Full details on practice times and specific activities surrounding the stadium practices will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
