BRONCOS SIGN FREE-AGENT T WINSTON JUSTICE TO A NEW ONE-YEAR CONTRACT

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.— The Denver Broncos on Friday signed unrestricted free-agent offensive tackle Winston Justice to a new one-year contract, Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway announced.

Justice (6-6, 317 pounds) is a ninth-year player who has seen action in 63 career regular-season games (43 starts) with Denver (2013), Indianapolis (2012) and Philadelphia (2006-11). He also owns experience playing in seven postseason contests (3 starts).

He was signed by the Broncos two weeks into the 2013 season after All-Pro left tackle Ryan Clady was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury. Justice saw action in four games for Denver during the regular season and appeared in one playoff game for the club.

Selected by the Eagles in the second round (39th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft from the University of Southern California, he spent six seasons with Philadelphia and was named to USA Today’s All-Joe Team in 2009. He was traded to Indianapolis in 2012 and went on to start 12 regular-season games and one playoff contest for the club at right tackle.

An all-conference performer at the USC, Justice attended Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High School and was born on Sept. 14, 1984.
