ENGLEWOOD, Colo.— The Denver Broncos on Tuesday signed linebacker Paris Lenon, it was announced.

Lenon (6-2, 240 pounds, jersey #43) is a 12th-year player who has seen action in 175 career regular-season games (122 starts) with Green Bay (2002-05), Detroit (2006-08), St. Louis (2009) and Arizona (2010-12). He also has experience playing in four postseason contests.

His career regular-season totals include 763 tackles (543 solo), 12 sacks (76 yds.), five interceptions (73 yds.), 29 passes defensed, 10 forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.   A 16-game starter in six of his last seven seasons, he has missed just one game in his career.

Signed by Carolina as a college free agent in 2000, Lenon spent his initial season out of football before competing with the Memphis Maniax of the XFL in 2001.

He was a three-year starter and All-Atlantic 10 Conference performer at the University of Richmond, where he played 45 career games and totaled 320 tackles, 12 sacks and four forced fumbles.

A graduate of Heritage High School in Lynchburg, Va., Lenon was born on Nov. 26, 1977.
