BRONCOS TO HOST 2013 DRAFT PARTY AT TWO TAVERN LOCATIONS
DENVER— The Denver Broncos will host official draft parties for fans beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at The Tavern Downtown (1949 Market St., Denver) and The Tavern Tech Center (5336 DTC Blvd., Greenwood Village) in conjunction with the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
The parties, which are free and open to the public, will feature members of the 2013 Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (the new squad was announced on April 21) as well as several current and former Broncos players, including Terrance Knighton (Downtown), Louis Vasquez (Downtown), Kevin Vickerson (Downtown), Mark Jackson (Downtown), Steve Watson (Downtown), Joel Dreessen (Tech Center), Jacob Tamme (Tech Center), Ebenezer Ekuban (Tech Center) and Billy Thompson (Tech Center).
Former kicker David Treadwell will host the draft party at the Tavern Downtown and will provide updates for Broncos flagship station 850 KOA, which will broadcast live from the event. Lewis & Floorwax of 103.5 The Fox—850 KOA’s new simulcast partner for Broncos games—will host the draft party at the Tech Center location.
Food and drink specials will be available during the parties and attendees will have a chance to win prizes, including a meet and greet with the Broncos’ first-round draft pick on Friday. Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway will address fans shortly after Denver’s first selection of the draft via videoconference (estimated time of the Denver’s No. 28 pick is shortly after 9 p.m.).
