ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver Broncos wide receiver Trindon Holliday will be named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, the National Football League informed the Broncos on Wednesday.Holliday recorded a 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Denver’s 31-23 win against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 to represent the longest play in franchise history. The return, which came on the opening kickoff of the second half, gave Denver a 17-3 lead and helped propel the Broncos to their third consecutive win.
The recognition represents the first such honor of Holliday’s career and the 23rd all-time AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award in team history.
