BRONCOS WIDE RECEIVER TRINDON HOLLIDAY NAMED AFC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Denver Broncos wide receiver Trindon Holliday will be named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, the National Football League informed the Broncos on Wednesday.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver Broncos wide receiver Trindon Holliday will be named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, the National Football League informed the Broncos on Wednesday.

Holliday recorded a 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Denver’s 31-23 win against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 to represent the longest play in franchise history. The return, which came on the opening kickoff of the second half, gave Denver a 17-3 lead and helped propel the Broncos to their third consecutive win.

The recognition represents the first such honor of Holliday’s career and the 23rd all-time AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award in team history.
