ORANGE SUNDAY & ORANGE RIDE SET FOR BRONCOS-RAIDERS GAME

DENVER — The Denver Broncos have declared this week’s divisional matchup against the Oakland Raiders (2:05 p.m. kickoff) “Orange Sunday” and are encouraging all fans to wear orange to the game.

The primary uniform color changed to orange this season and the players will be wearing orange uniforms at all home games with the exception of Week 11 against San Diego.

The celebration will begin with the third annual Orange Ride. In conjunction with the City of Denver, B-cycle, the Denver Cruisers and Bike Denver, fans are encouraged to ride their bike to the game.

The Denver Pavilions (16th and Glenarm) will be hosting a pre-ride party, beginning at 11 a.m. with a group ride to Sports Authority Field at Mile High leaving at 12:15 p.m. led by Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock, who will deliver the Broncos game ball on a U.S. Bank B-cycle.

All fans that bike to the game either from home or on the Orange Ride are invited to enjoy a pregame tailgate party at the Sports Legends Mall (south end of the stadium) where there will be bike parking, food and drink specials, free giveaways and a DJ. Additionally all riders will receive a complimentary Orange Ride T-shirt and gift bag courtesy of several team partners.

The Orange Ride is an example of the Denver Broncos Game Plan Green program helping promote sustainable practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in partnership with Xcel Energy and ROUND2 INC.

To purchase orange Broncos gear, fans can visit one of three Broncos team stores at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Dove Valley and Broncos Locker store at the Promenade at Centennial or shop online at shop.denverbroncos.com.
