DENVER — The Denver Broncos will host an official draft party for fans beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at The Tavern Downtown (1949 Market St., Denver) in conjunction with the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

The party, which is free and open to the public, will feature all of the 2012 Denver Broncos cheerleaders (the new squad was announced on April 22) and former Broncos players Tom Nalen, Randy Gradishar, Vance Johnson and Billy Thompson. Current Broncos players Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Joel Dreessen and Quinton Carter are also scheduled to appear and will discuss their draft day experience with fans.

Food and drink specials are available during the party, and attendees will have a chance to win raffle prizes, including a meet and greet with the Broncos’ first-round draft pick on Friday, April 27. Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway will also address fans live via satellite shortly after Denver’s first selection of the draft (estimated time of the Denver’s No. 25 pick is 10:15 p.m.).

The Broncos’ flagship station, 850 KOA, will broadcast live from the event, and NFL Network will also be streaming live footage of the party.
