The Broncos will open their preseason on the road for the 15th consecutive season—extending the club record—when they travel to Soldier Field to play the Chicago Bears (Aug. 9-13). Denver will host Seattle (Aug. 16-20) before playing a nationally-televised home game against San Francisco on Sun., Aug. 26 (2 p.m., FOX). The Broncos wrap up their preseason at University of Phoenix Stadium against the Cardinals (Aug. 29-30) for the second consecutive year.
Denver owns a 125-112 (.527) all-time record in the preseason and has registered at least a .500 record in the preseason during 14 of the last 16 seasons.
For the 43rd consecutive year, 850 KOA will broadcast all Broncos games as the team’s radio-rights holder. KUSA-TV (9News), the club’s partner station, will televise all of Denver’s preseason games locally with the exception of its nationally televised game against San Francisco.
The remaining dates and times for Denver’s preseason schedule will be announced later this month in coordination with the NFL’s release of the Broncos’ complete 2012 regular-season schedule.
