BRONCOS SIGN LONG SNAPPER DAVID BINN; WAIVE FULLBACK AUSTIN SYLVESTER

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Friday signed long snapper David Binn to their active roster and waived fullback Austin Sylvester, it was announced.

Binn
(6-foot-3, 288 pounds) is an 18th-year player who spent the first 17 seasons of his career with the San Diego Chargers, setting a team record with 256 regular-season games played, including a franchise-best 179 consecutive contests from 1998-2010. He also appeared in 12 postseason games with the Chargers, including Super Bowl XXIX during his 1994 rookie season.

Signed by San Diego as a college free agent from the University of California-Berkley in 1994, Binn was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1996.
