DENVER – The Denver Broncos will hold a Back to Football Friday Pep Rally on Friday, Sept. 9, from 5-8 p.m. in Skyline Park (16th and Arapahoe) in Downtown Denver in advance of their season opener against the Oakland Raiders on Monday, Sept. 12 (8:20 p.m. kickoff).

The Back to Football Pep Rally will include a live band, food and drink specials and ticket and merchandise giveaways. Broncos Cheerleaders, alumni and mascots (Miles and Thunder) will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos. The event will also feature a live broadcast of 850 KOA’s “The Dave Logan Show.”

Broncos players Eric Decker, Elvis Dumervil, Willis McGahee, Von Miller and Knowshon Moreno, as well as Broncos alumni Ebenezer Ekuban, Louis Wright, Karl Mecklenburg and Randy Gradishar are all scheduled to appear at various times throughout the event to celebrate with fans. The Broncos are asking downtown businesses to encourage their employees to join in the Friday pep rally to celebrate the return of NFL football and gear up for the game.

The Broncos want fans to tell them how they are celebrating Back to Football Friday in order to win prizes. The best ideas from offices could win a suite or VIP seats for an upcoming game or a visit from Miles, alumni and cheerleaders on Friday, Sept. 9. One local school that registers could win a $10,000 NFL Play 60 Health and Wellness grant from the NFL.
