ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The National Football League on Wednesday announced the Denver Broncos’ 2010 preseason schedule, which features home games against the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers as well as road contests against the Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings.

The Broncos open their preseason at Cincinnati (Aug. 12-16) and play their first home game of the preseason against Detroit on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. MDT. The club also hosts a nationally televised game on FOX against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Aug. 29, at 6 p.m. MDT before concluding its preseason schedule at Minnesota on Thursday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m. CDT.

CBS 4 (KCNC-TV) will produce and broadcast all of Denver’s preseason games with the exception of the Broncos’ contest against the Steelers, which will be televised nationally by FOX. Entering its 51st season in 2010, Denver owns a 122-107 (.533) all-time record in the preseason.

The NFL will release the Broncos’ complete 2010 regular-season schedule in April.
