BRONCOS ANNOUNCE EIGHT-MAN PRACTICE SQUAD

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos announced their practice squad roster on Sunday after signing eight players who spent the entire preseason with the club (see list below).

Also on Sunday, the Broncos signed free-agent cornerback Jonathan Wilhite and waived safety Darcel McBath.

Wilhite
(5-foot-11, 185 pounds) is a fourth-year player who saw time in 39 regular-season games (9 starts) with New England and totaled 89 tackles (70 solo), three interceptions (33 yds.), nine passes defensed and one fumble recovery. He also appeared in one postseason contest.

Selected by the Patriots in the fourth round (129th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft from Auburn University, Wilhite was born on Feb. 23, 1984.
